JournalClub (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates a social media platform that allows users to capture and share handwritten scientific notes by parsing them into digital posts using artificial intelligence technologies, including the OpenAI API.

• Uploaded handwritten notes, images, and posts.
• Device, IP, and general usage analytics.
• Temporary AI processing data transmitted securely to OpenAI’s API.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to provide, improve, and secure JournalClub, enable posting and interaction, and process handwritten content into structured posts.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell data. Limited sharing occurs with OpenAI (for parsing), Firebase (for hosting and authentication), and analytics providers.

4. Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary to operate JournalClub or comply with legal obligations. You may delete your account at any time.

5. Your Rights
